F1 in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore!

I had dinner at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel [1] on Wednesday night and parking was crazy. A large cheap parking space was closed for some reason; it was most likely due to the city celebrating the return of F1 racing event to Sepang circuit. It seemed like a huge party with blinding light shooting up into the sky.

The Mandarin Oriental is the hotel right besides the Petronas Twin Towers and it is usual to find the whole area, from the Twin Towers right up to the PNB Building to be packed with vehicles over the weekend. But on a weekday?

OMG!

If that is how it like during a weekday, I’m going to avoid the area during the weekends!

But the biggest news is not the traffic in KL but the news that Singapore plans to host an F1 race too. Immediately, some Malaysians say Singapore is being so “Singapore-like”, whatever that means. Some Malaysians say, great! Two F1 races that we all could attend to!
