Citrawarna Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur – the capital of Malaysia – also encompasses the administrative capital some 50km south of the city.
And Putrajaya is the launch venue for this year’s Colours of Malaysia or Citrawarna – a melange and mayhem of colours, carnival and cuisine aimed at tourists. Yes, it is still Visit Malaysia Year.
The theme this year is Millions of Colours, Millions of Smiles and it starts May 26 and ends on June 10.
The grand launch filled with glitz and gaudy glamour is at Putrajaya Square in Putrajaya – nice place but pretty spooky and empty at night – with dance and music troupes taking over the deserted boulevards and avenues that criss-cross the administrative capital.
After that, its back to basic Malaysiana – food promotions, craft exhibitions and cultural shows at the various hotels, shopping malls, tourists spots and what-have-you in and around Kuala Lumpur until June 10.
Go to Tourism Malaysia [1] for more details.
Heh, I should be back in Kuala Lumpur by then. Travelling here and there and everywhere ;)
