Party at the AllBlogs House

Through impromptu planning, I found myself at the AllBlogs-organized Bangsa Malaysia Merdeka Get-together. It all happened when I was attending a brainstorming session somewhere just outside the city that was attended by a few other bloggers, namely Howsy, Li Tsin and Nat. Howsy, wait, okay, Dr. Howsy, later asked me whether I was going to that AllBlogs event. Me, being a boring person that had planned to stay indoor on a Saturday event, decided to tag along with Howsy and the rest.

I hitched a ride with Nat there, thinking about one thing: didn’t I have to register from this thing?

Howsy said he himself hadn’t registered and planned to crash the party. Okay then. This is not the first time I had crashed a party so, hey, what the hell.

By I used the word “crash the party” during that conversation with Howsy, I thought he was using it figuratively. It turned out that it was more literal than I had thought it would. When we got there, it was a party and that fact became clearer as the night progressed. There were cigars, booze and girls (as well as nasi lemak, satay, meehoon, etc)! Figuratively, of course…

Honestly, I came in late and there was a forum prior to the party. The forum was about Bangsa Malaysia (Malaysian nation). There were singing of Negaraku (the national anthem), reciting of the Rukunegara as well as sajaks and singing of the other things that might be less flattering in nature, but amusing.

I learned a few things for that little party. Allblogs has an office-cum-house in Damansara. While the place is empty, they have a 42′ plasma TV in there. The best thing is, they have wifi! All they need now is a PS3 to turn the house into a blog shrine.

And just to let you know, two MBKL contributors were there! Guess who the other one?
