Eye on KL

Unable to find a good scene to capture ahead of the installation of the new Malaysian King this Thursday April 26, 2007.

But I did manage to go by the Eye on Malaysia over at Lake Titiwangsa – a disused mining pool turned to a public park. Kuala Lumpur used to be one of the centres of tin-mining in Malaysia as it slowly turned the then-capital of Selangor state before eventually becoming the capital city of Malaysia.

So this is beautiful Kuala Lumpur at night with the Eye on Malaysia and the Petronas Twin Towers – the world’s tallest twin towers.

Full moon over Kuala Lumpur City Centre

Captured this last week in the frantic run-up to the Malaysian Grand Prix F1 race. No wonder the city is one of the top 100 cities in the world. ;)

Anyway, the weather has been blowing hot and cold lately, leading to streets chocked with cars and other vehicles. The only good thing about this is it forces on to take a walk and tour the beautiful city.

Skyline of Kuala Lumpur

It is a slow day and I do not know what to blog about. So, it’s photo time:

This view was taken from the Bankers’ Club.
